Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Chore Board, Collectible Vault, Family Kitchen, History Facts, Spelling Bee, Math Flash, Vehicle Log, and Home Inventory (together, “the Apps”) and this site, operated by honestlogic.app (“we,” “us,” “the Operator”). By creating an account or using any of the Apps, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Apps.

Who Can Use the Apps

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to create an account — generally, an adult. The Apps are designed for an adult account holder (a parent, guardian, or teacher) to use on behalf of themselves and, in Chore Board, to manage chores and a minutes balance for their own kids; in Spelling Bee, Math Flash, and History Facts, to track practice for their own children or students; and in Family Kitchen, to record a child's dietary or allergy information for meal planning. Children do not create accounts of their own; if you enter a child's or student's name, grade level, allergy information, or chore-completion photo, you're representing that you're authorized to do so (e.g., as their parent, guardian, or teacher).

Your Account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. Because the Apps share one sign-in across Chore Board, Collectible Vault, Family Kitchen, History Facts, Spelling Bee, Math Flash, Vehicle Log, and Home Inventory, securing or losing access to that inbox affects your session on all eight.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you add — chores and chore-completion photos, card photos and details, recipes and allergen profiles, word lists, math decks, history-fact decks, student information, and vehicle, fuel purchase, and maintenance records. By using the Apps you give us the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content back to you as part of operating the service (for example, storing a chore-completion photo so you can review it before approving, sending a card photo to a vision model to identify it, extracting a recipe from a link or photo and checking it against an allergen profile, reading a fuel receipt or pump photo to extract purchase details, suggesting a gas station's address from your device's location, or generating a practice image for a word list). We don't use your content for any purpose beyond operating and improving the Apps.

Acceptable Use

Please don't use the Apps to:

• upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights;
• try to access another account or another household's or classroom's data;
• interfere with or disrupt the Apps, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls;
• use the Apps to collect or store information about a child other than your own child or student, without appropriate authorization.

We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these Terms.

Item Valuations Are Estimates Only

Collectible Vault's identification, condition assessment, and value estimates are generated automatically (including by AI models and third-party market-data sources) and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, are not guaranteed to be accurate, and should not be relied on for insurance, tax, sale, purchase, or any other financial decision. Always verify an item's value independently, especially before any transaction.

Family Kitchen's Allergen Information Is Not Medical Advice

Family Kitchen's allergen flags and substitute suggestions are generated automatically (including by AI models) from the ingredients it extracts and the allergy profiles you provide. They are a convenience, not a substitute for reading the actual label on any ingredient or product you use, and not medical or dietary advice. Extraction and matching can be wrong or incomplete — always verify an ingredient or recipe independently before serving it to someone with a food allergy, and consult a doctor or allergist for anything safety-critical. We are not responsible for an allergic reaction or other harm resulting from reliance on this feature.

Vehicle Log Data Is for Your Own Recordkeeping

Fuel purchase details Vehicle Log reads from a photo (totals, gallons, dates, and similar) and the suggested station address are generated automatically and provided as a convenience — they are not verified for accuracy, and you are responsible for reviewing and correcting them before saving. Vehicle Log's reports and exports are provided for your own recordkeeping and are not tax or legal advice; we don't verify eligibility for any reimbursement program. Confirm what documentation your state (or any other program) actually requires, and consult a tax professional, before relying on this data for a reimbursement submission or any other financial or legal purpose.

Home Inventory Is for Your Own Recordkeeping

Home Inventory stores whatever you enter and computes an estimated replacement date from the install/acquisition date and expected lifespan you provide — we don't verify the accuracy of anything you enter, and an estimated replacement date is not a substitute for a professional inspection. Its exports (including the “transfer to new owner” export) are provided for your own convenience and are not insurance, legal, or real-estate advice; you're responsible for deciding what to share with an insurer, a buyer, or anyone else, and for confirming it meets their requirements.

Chore Board Doesn't Control Any Device, and Its Minutes Are Not Payment

Chore Board does not lock, unlock, restrict, or otherwise control screen time or app access on any device — it only tracks chores, photo proof, approvals, and a minutes balance you keep yourself. Whether and when to actually grant screen time, allowance, or any other reward based on that balance is entirely up to you; the balance has no monetary value and isn't redeemable for anything through us. You're responsible for reviewing a chore-completion photo yourself before approving it — we don't verify or moderate photos in any way.

No Warranty

The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content (including AI-generated identifications, images, audio, or extracted purchase details) will always be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, honestlogic.app is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Apps, or for decisions made in reliance on card valuations, allergen flags or substitute suggestions, extracted fuel purchase details, exported reports, or other automatically generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Apps is limited to the amount you paid us to use them in the past twelve months (currently zero, as the Apps are free).

Changes to the Apps or These Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Apps at any time. We may update these Terms; if we make a material change, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Apps after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using the Apps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there.
